This woman has gone to extreme lengths to prove Frozen has a 'Gay Agenda'
EVERY NOW AND then a film causes controversy but one American woman has taken issue with the most unlikely of movies: Disney’s Frozen.
In a post on her blog - A Well-Behaved Mormon Woman - Kathryn Skaggs argues that the film has a “gay agenda to normalize homosexuality”.
She says she had her reservations about Frozen when she originally saw it, but felt compelled to share her concerns about its “rebellious” message in light of its continued success.
Skaggs breaks the film – which tells the tale of a young who can’t control her icy powers and the sister who wants to save her – down scene by scene, in order to reveal what she perceives to be the ‘gay messaging’ hidden within:
And when she’s finished highlighting the film’s ‘issues’, the blogger turns her attention to its theme tune Let It Go.
She argues that the song is only one from a soundtrack that is “intended to indoctrinate your children and/or grandchildren, contrary to faith-based teachings.”
Despite her issues with Frozen, Skaggs claims that she is not “anti-gay”, nor does she want to force her views on anyone.
We’re still not quite sure exactly what it is about the film (which she has seen three times) that’s pushed her to such extremes, but you can read her full blog post here and decide for yourselves.
This isn’t the first time Disney has been in the firing line this year. The company’s decision to introduce the first same-sex couple on a Disney Channel show in January was also met with criticism online.
